Despite the obvious challenges over recent months, Sway’s Co-op convenience store has been completed on schedule and is up and running. The store opened its doors to the first customer on 22nd January 2021. Landmark’s Managing Director, James Bradley said “The redevelopment of the former Hatch Motors site is the most exciting development in Sway for a long time. Sway is already a busy, rural community and we believe this mixed-use scheme will bolster the village’s role as rural centre, providing a new retail facility. It has been no mean feat and I am grateful to our construction partner Soldi Construction for their hard work and endeavours whilst strictly adhering to both and health and safety and Covid-19 guidelines”.
Completion of both the apartment units (above the convenience store) and the four cottages to the rear are also progressing well.
All dwellings will have on-site allocated parking spaces whilst also being within walking distance to Sway Railway Station. Given the site’s enviable New Forest National Park location and living so close to nature with its stunning landscape backdrops, Landmark advise prospective purchasers to register their interest as soon as possible, to avoid disappointment.
