The recently approved Listed Building and Detailed Planning consent at Devenish House, 49 & 51 Southgate Street, Winchester, is yet another planning success for Landmark Estates.
This application is one of four, successful Listed Building applications to have been approved at first attempt in 2018, reaffirming our continued ability to appropriately, and indeed efficiently, work with important heritage assets.
Construction work on the Grade II Listed buildings, which will support nine private residential apartments (several with Cathedral Views) and a refurbished freehold office building, is due to start in January 2019.
The apartments range from c750 sq ft (1 Bedroom dwellings) – c1600 sq ft (2 Bedroom duplexes) and will each be offered with on-site parking, secure (private) store rooms and lift access.
The freehold office building which is built over three floors is c2200 sq ft and offers a versatile working environment, that might suit a variety of end users.
It is our intention to launch the project in late Spring 2019, where we aim to offer each apartment with a Help To Buy incentive.
The properties will be built to a high standard, with fully fitted kitchens, high-end bathrooms and cutting-edge technology. The project will be a blend of traditional architecture with the luxury of a contemporary interior.
