The Former Lamb Inn Public House Basingstoke
Planning was granted on our first attempt to re-develop the former Lamb Inn on Hackwood Road Basingstoke.
The site lies within the Fairfield Conservation area, to the South of central Basingstoke. The existing building is of poor structural quality and has been subject to a number of years of neglect and sadly vandalism.
Having secured initial support from the planning department, it was clear that the site was of great importance at local level. If we were to gain the requisite support going forwards, the proposed scheme would need to be carefully considered, balancing traditional architectural design with requirements of modern living.
Our carefully selected and continuously proven professional team were instructed, to deliver a high quality development of private residential properties.
After the initial Pre Application Stage and following numerous consultations with the Local Authorities Urban Designer and Conservation Officer, we believe we created a superbly balanced scheme for the setting.
The success of this application is another string to the South Coast teams bow, and makes up a modest proportion to Landmark Estates continued success throughout Hampshire, Wiltshire and Dorset.
